Prarabdha means "begun" or "set in motion." This is the specific, small slice of your massive Sanchita warehouse that has been selected for you to experience in this particular lifetime.

• The Analogy: Out of that massive library of books, your soul selects just a few specific volumes to read during this current life trip.

• The Reality: This is what we commonly refer to as "destiny" or "fate." It dictates the unchangeable constants of your life: the family you are born into, your physical constitution, and the major, sudden turning points you encounter.  

  
  

3. Kriyamana Karma (The Free Will of Today)

Kriyamana is the karma you are actively creating right now, in the present moment, through your current choices, reactions, and daily behaviors.

• The Analogy: This is the brand-new chapter you are actively writing today.
